Stellar's Tokenized Asset Market Surges to $4 Billion
The Stellar blockchain has seen its tokenized real-world asset market grow to nearly $4 billion in 2026, a 360% increase from the end of 2025. This growth is not reflected in the price of the Stellar token (XLM), which was down about 11% for the year near $0.18.
The majority of this growth can be attributed to five issuers: Spiko, Realiz, Tradable, Franklin Templeton, and Ondo. Franklin Templeton's presence is particularly notable, as its Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund was launched on Stellar in 2021 and has since expanded to other networks.
The inclusion of non-US government debt is another significant aspect of Stellar's tokenized asset market. As of Aug. 20, the network held roughly $490 million in tokenized non-US government debt, including Mexican CETES and Brazilian government bonds issued through Etherfuse.
