Stellar's Tokenized Assets Surge to Near-$4B as Institutional Adoption Grows
Stellar's tokenized real-world asset market has seen explosive growth in recent months, surging to nearly $4 billion as of August 29. This represents a staggering increase of over 360% from just over $868 million at the end of 2025.
The expansion is not limited to a single asset, but rather encompasses various types of tokenized securities, including U.S. Treasurys, private and public credit, non-U.S. government debt, and more. Spiko Amundi products make up a significant portion of the market, while other issuers such as Ondo, Franklin Templeton's BENJI ecosystem, and Tradable also contribute to the growth.
One notable aspect of Stellar's RWA expansion is its concentration among several large issuers. As of August 27, Spiko accounted for approximately $1.55 billion of Stellar's RWA value, followed by Realiz at $559 million, Tradable at $548 million, Franklin Templeton at $546 million, and Ondo at $535 million.
Stellar has also established a notable presence in non-U.S. sovereign debt, holding roughly $490 million in tokenized non-U.S. government debt as of August 20. This includes Mexican CETES and Brazilian government bonds issued through Etherfuse.
The growth is largely driven by institutional adoption, with major players such as DTCC announcing plans to connect its tokenization service to Stellar, and Tradable separately announcing plans to bring up to $1 billion in private credit assets to the network.
