Stellar's Tokenized Assets Surpass $4 Billion Milestone
Stellar's tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) market has surpassed $3.8 billion, marking a significant acceleration in how major issuers are positioning tokenized debt and government-linked instruments on public chains.
According to a Dune Analytics dashboard maintained by Stellar, the RWA market cap stood at $3.996 billion as of August 29, representing a nearly 360% rise over the year.
The growth is attributed to institutional integrations, including DTCC's planned connectivity that could bring tokenized assets to Stellar in the first half of 2027, and the launch of regulated dollar remittance and payment rails, such as MoneyGram's MGUSD stablecoin on Stellar.
However, despite this rapid expansion in tokenized assets, Stellar's native token XLM has struggled to keep pace, with a year-to-date loss of around 11%.
