U.S. equities posted modest gains on Tuesday, partially recovering from Monday's sell-off in AI-related stocks. The S&P 500 rose 0.3% to 7,673, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 64 points, or 0.1%, to 53,481.

The Nasdaq 100 led the gains, climbing 0.7% to 29,214 as AI-linked names bounced back from Monday's decline. Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA) rose 1.5% to $211.67 ahead of its fiscal second-quarter report.

Oil prices fell sharply, with West Texas Intermediate crude dropping 3.4% to $82.11 a barrel and Brent crude slipping 3.7% to $88.81. The price decline eased Treasury yields, with the 10-year yield easing to 4.65%, down 6 basis points.

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) briefly topped $80,000 before dropping slightly, but remains up 25% for the month. Several tech and chip stocks saw significant gains, including Super Micro Computer Inc. (NASDAQ:SMCI), Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD), Marvell Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MRVL), and Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU).
