Storj Labs Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection
Storj Labs, the provider of decentralized cloud storage and computing services listed on Binance, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the U.S. to restructure its outstanding financial liabilities.
The company announced that it filed for voluntary restructuring with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of West Virginia on July 26, 2026, under file number 5:26-bk-00512.
According to the summary information regarding the court application, Storj Labs' assets and liabilities are estimated to be between $1 million and $10 million, with between 1 and 49 creditors.
The company stated that it does not expect any changes to its services offered to customers, its decentralized storage network, or its team during the Chapter 11 process. In fact, employee payments and normal business obligations arising after the process begins are planned to be met, subject to necessary court approvals.
