Strategy Acquires 3,273 Bitcoin for $255M

Strategy, the world's largest publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holder, has acquired 3,273 Bitcoin for approximately $255 million between April 20 and April 26. The purchase was disclosed in an 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.

The coins were bought at an average price of $77,906 per Bitcoin, raising Strategy's overall cost basis to $75,537 per coin. The firm's total stack of 818,334 Bitcoin was accumulated for approximately $61.8 billion, including fees and expenses.

At the time of the filing, the position carried a market value of roughly $63.7 billion. Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said the firm has achieved a 9.6% Bitcoin yield year-to-date in 2026.
