Strategy Braces for Earnings Test Amid Controversial Pivot

Strategy, the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holder, is set to report its second-quarter results on Thursday. Analysts expect earnings of 79 cents per share on revenue of $122.9 million, a significant improvement from the prior quarter's loss.

The company has faced intense pressure due to its controversial pivot toward sales and capital structure reforms. Management's ability to fund operations and preferred stock dividends will be under scrutiny as Bitcoin trades below the company's average acquisition cost.

Strategy holds 843,775 bitcoins, but faces a $1.5 billion annual preferred-dividend bill. The company has increased the STRC dividend to 12% and established a $2.55 billion USD reserve, but investors will assess whether these moves are sufficient to restore the security to par.

The trajectory of Strategy's preferred securities and Bitcoin treasury management remain key concerns. Analysts expect 225% upside from the current price of $93.33, with a mean price target of $303.64.
