Strategy Breaks Weeks-Long Streak with $370 Million Bitcoin Purchase

Strategy, the world's largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder, has broken its weeks-long inactivity streak. According to Michael Saylor, the company's founder, they purchased 4,603 BTC for $370 million last week.

This significant purchase brings Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings to 845,050 BTC, exceeding 845,000 BTC. The company's Bitcoin treasury strategy began in 2020 and has made it one of the world's largest institutional Bitcoin holders.

Not only did Strategy buy more Bitcoin but also strengthened its cash position by increasing its USD cash assets by $29 million. As of August 30, the company had approximately $6.71 billion in USD assets.
