Strategy Buys Another 4,603 Bitcoins for $369.7 Million
Strategy, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin (BTC), has resumed its accumulation campaign after a two-month hiatus. The company purchased an additional 4,603 BTC for approximately $369.7 million at an average price of $80,318 per coin.
The purchase brings Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings to 845,050 BTC. The average acquisition cost across the entire position stands at $75,412 per coin.
Funding for this purchase came from the sale of 4,531,421 shares of common stock (MSTR) between August 24 and 30, generating net proceeds of approximately $602.8 million after fees.
