Strategy CEO Stands Firm: 'We'll Buy Bitcoin at $260K'
Strategy CEO Phong Le made headlines recently when he told Bloomberg that Bitcoin could reach $260,000 in value. He also stated that his company would continue to buy Bitcoin even after it reaches this price point.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Le defended the company's decision to sell around 7,000 BTC, which some saw as a mistake. According to him, this sale represented less than 1% of their total holdings and helped strengthen the company's balance sheet.
Le also mentioned that his company has been accumulating Bitcoin at an aggressive pace, with a recent purchase of $369.7 million worth of BTC in a single week. He stated that they will continue to buy Bitcoin even if it reaches $130,000, saying 'when it hits $260,000, people will say the... $130,000 Bitcoin was a good purchase.'
Other market watchers are also predicting a strong future for Bitcoin. Trader Ted Pillows believes that BTC could reach $100,000 by the end of 2026, provided it can first clear the resistance level of $83,000.
