Strategy Expects to Resume Bitcoin Purchases Before Year-End
Michael Saylor's company, Strategy, plans to resume buying Bitcoin before the end of 2026 after selling approximately 7,000 BTC this year. CEO Phong Le stated that the sales were part of the company's capital-management strategy rather than a shift away from its long-term Bitcoin accumulation approach.
The company has bought roughly 175,000 BTC since the beginning of the year while selling the mentioned amount. Strategy's disclosed holdings exceed 840,000 BTC, making it the largest publicly disclosed corporate holder of Bitcoin, according to data from BitcoinTreasuries.net.
Strategy's balance sheet remains positioned to meet its obligations, with a leverage ratio of about 4% and enough cash to cover approximately 2.7 years of dividend obligations, as per Le's comments.
