Strategy Fuels Bitcoin Buying Speculation with 'Doing Business' Post
Strategy, led by Chairman Michael Saylor, is sparking market interest with its latest X post. The company's StrategyTracker chart on August 9 featured a simple message 'Doing Business.'
This comes after Saylor posted a similar message last Sunday, which was followed by an announcement of a bitcoin sale. The latest signal has investors watching to see if the company will redeploy its cash holdings and resume buying.
Strategy recently adjusted its capital structure by selling 1,638 bitcoin on August 3 for about $105 million. The funds were used for buybacks of STRC shares and dividend payments, as well as meeting short-term operating obligations.
The company's available cash buffer has increased sharply to around $4 billion, with Strategy holding 842,138 bitcoin worth approximately $54.66 billion since 2020.
