Strategy Halts Bitcoin Buys Amid Repurchases and Buyback Expansion

Strategy, an investment vehicle tied to Michael Saylor, has halted its Bitcoin buys since August 31. Instead of buying or selling any BTC during this period, it repurchased $176.3 million in preferred stock and doubled its buyback program to $2 billion.

Meanwhile, another investment firm, Strive, bought 1,375 BTC for approximately $109 million, increasing its total Bitcoin holdings to 24,531 BTC.

This shows a clear difference in capital allocation between the two firms. While Strategy is focused on managing its securities and treasury, Strive continues to expand its Bitcoin reserves.
