Strategy Halts Bitcoin Buys to Boost Cash Reserves Amid Market Volatility
Michael Saylor's firm, Strategy, has put its regular Bitcoin purchases on hold for over a month to focus on increasing its cash reserves. The company recently added $525 million to its U.S. dollar holdings, bringing total cash to $3.75 billion, which is enough to cover dividends for about 2.1 years.
This move aims to ensure liquidity for dividend payments amid market volatility and address concerns about stock dilution and business model criticism.
