Strategy Holds Over 843,000 BTC, Sees Digital Credit as New Asset Class
Strategy Inc., the NASDAQ-listed company, has released its Q2 results. The firm reported quarterly revenue of $122.39 million, missing the analyst estimate of $122.91 million.
The company's digital assets consist of approximately 843,775 Bitcoins (BTC), making it the largest institutional holder in the world. As of July 26, 2026, Strategy's BTC had an original cost basis and market value of $63.69 billion and $54.77 billion respectively, with an average cost per Bitcoin of around $75,476.
Strategy's founder and executive chairman, Michael Saylor, commented on the company's evolving business model and its aim to establish Digital Credit as a new asset class. He stated that the plan is to return STRC (Strategy's Variable Rate Perpetual Stretch Preferred Shares, Series A) to health with stable demand, high liquidity, and low volatility trading near par.
