Strategy Inc. Sells More Bitcoin, Stock in Capital Structure Revamp
Strategy Inc., led by Michael Saylor, is accelerating its shift from aggressively buying Bitcoin to focusing on strengthening its financial foundation. As part of this effort, the company has completed a $105 million sale of its Bitcoin holdings and sold three million shares worth approximately $291 million.
The proceeds from these sales were used to bolster Strategy Inc.'s dollar-based reserve pool, which now stands at $4 billion, and to repurchase some $81 million worth of its own preferred shares. These shares are trading at a discount.
This move marks the latest development in Strategy Inc.'s effort to revamp its capital structure after years of accumulating Bitcoin through its buyback program.
