Strategy Pauses Bitcoin Purchases, Raising Caution Amid Elevated Macro Pressure
Strategy's pause in Bitcoin purchases has changed the short-term demand picture for BTC. The company, which had been consistently buying Bitcoin and converting its proceeds into BTC, has stopped this practice. Although Strategy still holds a large number of BTC, its absence as a buyer is significant because traders had grown accustomed to treating it as one predictable source of demand.
The price prediction for Bitcoin has become cautious due to the pause in Strategy's purchases, which coincides with elevated macro pressure. Despite this, some analysts believe that BTC can still recover towards $70,000 and higher if other demand sources can replace Strategy's regular accumulation.
Meanwhile, AlphaPepe is gaining attention as a retail wildcard. With four live products, including AlphaSwap, AlphaRouter, AlphaRank, and AlphaPalace, the project offers retail investors a different setup than traditional Bitcoin investments. The company has raised over $2.13 million in its presale and has confirmed partnerships with three exchanges: Azbit, BiFinance, and Biconomy.
AlphaPepe's products provide several potential demand channels after launch, including discovery, USDT reward pools, and a marketplace and gaming environment. The project's small pre-listing valuation can react sharply to product, community, and exchange milestones, making it a high-risk but potentially high-reward investment opportunity.
