Strategy, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, has paused its BTC purchases for now. Instead, it used part of its capital to repurchase $176.3 million worth of its preferred STRC stock between Aug. 31 and Sept. 7.

This move is in line with Strategy's capital framework, which aims to preserve Bitcoin exposure while allowing sales to fund dividends. The company has reported no new Bitcoin purchases during this period, keeping its treasury at 845,050 BTC purchased for $63.6 billion at an average cost of $75,412 per BTC.

Strategy also expanded its Digital Credit Securities repurchase program to a total of $2 billion, doubling the size of the program. This move reflects the company's continued emphasis on capital management and funding its treasury through various means.
