Strategy Rebuilds Cash Pile Amid Caution on Bitcoin Purchases

Strategy, the world's largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, has continued to rebuild its cash pile by selling shares through its ATM program. The firm raised $525 million in USD, increasing its reserve to cover 2.1 years of dividend payments. This move comes after Strategy halted its cryptocurrency purchases a month ago and focused on rebuilding its greenback reserves.

The decision was sparked by the decline of STRC, the company's stretch stock used to raise funds for BTC purchases, which fell below its par price of $100 in late Q2. Although it has since recovered to $87, Strategy remains cautious and continues to prioritize cash accumulation.

The company sold 5.4 million shares through its ATM program, allowing it to increase its USD reserve by $525 million. Its Bitcoin stash remains unchanged at 843,775 BTC, currently valued at over $56 billion given the asset's price of $65,000.
