Strategy Resumes Aggressive Bitcoin Accumulation with $370 Million Purchase
Strategy, the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holder, has resumed its aggressive accumulation strategy after a two-month pause. The company acquired an additional 4,603 BTC for approximately $370 million over the past week at an average price of roughly $80,318 per BTC.
This latest purchase marks a significant return to Bitcoin accumulation and has attracted attention across the cryptocurrency community as BTC trades near elevated price levels. Strategy's total Bitcoin holdings have now increased to 845,050 BTC, further solidifying its position as the largest publicly known corporate holder of the cryptocurrency.
According to Michael Saylor, Chairman of Strategy, the company purchased the latest batch of Bitcoin while also adding approximately $29 million to its cash reserves and repurchasing about $152 million worth of STRC, one of its preferred stock offerings. The timing of this purchase has generated mixed reactions among crypto market participants.
