Strategy Resumes Bitcoin Buying with $370 Million Purchase
Michael Saylor's Strategy has resumed buying Bitcoin after a multi-week pause. The company purchased 4,603 BTC for $370 million on August 30, 2026, lifting its total holdings to 845,050 Bitcoin. This move brings the firm's combined USD assets to $6.71 billion and reduces net leverage to 0.0%.
The purchase implies an average price of roughly $80,380 per Bitcoin, which is above Strategy's long-term cost basis of approximately $75,385. However, it is in line with recent market levels after Bitcoin recovered from summer lows near $58,000, $63,000 into the high $80,000s.
Strategy now controls roughly 4% of Bitcoin's 21 million supply cap and has positioned itself to continue its long-term accumulation strategy from a more fortified balance-sheet stance. The company remains the largest corporate Bitcoin holder by a wide margin.
