Strategy Resumes Bitcoin Purchases with $370M Deal
Strategy, the firm led by Michael Saylor, resumed its Bitcoin accumulation after a two-month pause. During this period, it redirected its attention towards rebuilding its dollar reserves, which now exceed $6.7 billion.
The company's latest purchase consisted of 4,603 BTC for a total of $369.7 million at an average price of $80,318 per unit. This operation was primarily funded through the sale of common shares for $602.8 million, with some funds allocated to repurchase $151.8 million in STRC preferred shares and strengthening its cash reserves.
With this purchase, Strategy's total holdings rose to 845,050 BTC, acquired for $63.73 billion at an average price of $75,412 per unit. At the current market price, that position is worth $66.4 billion, placing it in positive territory for the first time since May.
