Strategy Sells $104M in Bitcoin, Raises $290M via Stock Sales
Strategy, a company with ticker MSTR, has made significant transactions to raise capital and manage its assets. During the week ended Aug. 2, Strategy sold 1,638 Bitcoin at an average net price of $63,957, generating net proceeds of $104.7 million.
The company also raised $290.6 million through at-the-market sales of common stock. This was achieved by selling 3,011,361 MSTR shares, with the funds being used to increase its U.S. dollar reserve, fund preferred dividends, and repurchase STRC shares.
According to the data, Strategy held 842,138 Bitcoin acquired for $63.51 billion, with an average cost of $75,419 per coin. The company's USD Reserve totaled $4 billion at the time of these transactions.
