Strategy Sells 1,638 BTC to Fund STRC Repurchases

Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, has sold 1,638 BTC to fund STRC repurchases. The company's total Bitcoin stash now stands at 843,138 BTC, valued at approximately $52 billion. Strategy realized $104.7 million from the sale of its BTC holdings over the last week.

The sale was conducted between July 27 and August 2, with an average price per BTC of $63,957. This marks a reduction in Strategy's Bitcoin holdings by 1,638 BTC, which is equivalent to around 1.9% of its total stash.

Strategy plans to use the proceeds from the sale to fund dividend payments on STRC stock and repurchase shares of the company's high-yielding preferred stock. The move comes as STRC continues to trade below its par value of $100, with Strategy scooping up 914,143 shares for approximately $81.2 million.
