Strategy Sells Another Massive Portion of Its Bitcoin Holdings
Strategy, the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holder, has sold another portion of its massive Bitcoin treasury. According to data from blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain, the company offloaded 1,637 BTC worth approximately $102.3 million last week.
This sale reduced Strategy's holdings to 842,138 BTC, still making it by far the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holder. At current prices, the company's stash is valued at roughly $52.65 billion.
Strategy's CEO Michael Saylor confirmed the transaction, explaining that the sale was part of a broader treasury management strategy rather than a shift in the company's long-term Bitcoin thesis.
Saylor also revealed that Strategy increased its USD Reserve by $250M and repurchased $81M of STRC, tightening its BTC Credit by 5 bps. This move increased USD Duration by 57 days to 2.3 years.
