Strategy Sells Bitcoin to Build Cash Cushion Amid Financing Concerns
Strategy, the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, has been trimming its BTC Reserve by selling $108.6 million worth of cryptocurrency over the past week.
This sale is part of a larger trend that began in May, when Strategy sold around $432 million of Bitcoin as worries about its financing model deepened.
The company's co-founder and executive chairman, Saylor, has been a long-time advocate for Bitcoin, but has also emphasized the importance of having a strong cash reserve.
Strategy's USD Reserve now stands at $4.65 billion, while its BTC Reserve holds ₿840,447, worth approximately $58 billion.
