Strategy Sells More Bitcoin, Common Shares to Build Cash Stockpile
Strategy Inc., led by Michael Saylor, has continued to revise its capital structure. The company's largest corporate holder of Bitcoin sold $108.6 million worth of the digital asset between August 3 and August 9. In addition, Strategy offloaded 6.6 million common shares, valued at approximately $653 million, over the same period.
The sale was part of an effort to bolster the company's cash reserve. The move follows a similar strategy employed by the company in previous weeks. As a result, Strategy has repurchased $108.6 million worth of its Stretch preferred shares.
Strategy Inc.'s Bitcoin holdings currently stand at approximately $58 billion. This latest sale marks another step in the company's ongoing efforts to manage its financial structure and build its cash stockpile.
