Strategy Sells MSTR Stock, Adds to USD Reserve Amid Bitcoin Pause
Michael Saylor's company Strategy recently sold around 3.5 million shares of MSTR stock through its at-the-market program, generating more than $333 million in net proceeds.
The sale is part of a broader strategy to raise cash and fund preferred-stock dividends, as well as build the company's USD Reserve.
Strategy allocated the proceeds across three areas: around $52.4 million went toward STRC preferred dividends, $132.2 million was used to repurchase STRC shares, and the remaining $149.1 million was added to its USD Reserve.
The company's USD Reserve has grown significantly over the past few weeks, reaching $4.80 billion.
