Strategy Shares Soar 40% as Bitcoin Reclaims $72,000
Strategy shares have surged by 40% from their yearly low as Bitcoin reclaimed $72,000 for the first time since early June.
This move has reignited demand for the largest corporate holder of the cryptocurrency, Strategy. The company's market value is now near parity with its Bitcoin stack, down from a peak multiple of 3.89 times in late 2024.
The YieldMax MSTR Option Income Strategy ETF (MSTY) also advanced, reaching $13.95 compared to its year-to-date low of $11.50, as the broader crypto-equity complex rallied alongside the digital asset.
Bitcoin's technical breakout has pushed it toward its 200-day Exponential Moving Average, a level traders view as a key test for sustained momentum.
