Strategy Snaps Up Another 4,603 BTC Worth $370M
Strategy, the company led by Michael Saylor, has made its latest move in the Bitcoin market. The firm purchased 4,603 more BTC for $369.7 million between August 24 and 30, lifting its total holdings to 845,050 bitcoin.
The average purchase price of $80,318 per coin is well above Strategy's $75,412 average cost basis, according to data from Walter Bloomberg.
Bitcoin traded near $77,600 as the buying wrapped up, which is still short of Strategy's average cost basis.
The total value of Strategy's Bitcoin position now stands at $63.73 billion in total cost.
