Strategy Teases Next Bitcoin Move After Mysterious 'Doing ₿usiness' Post
Strategy, a company led by Michael Saylor, made headlines on Sunday when its executive chairman posted 'Doing ₿usiness' on X. The cryptic message sparked speculation about whether Strategy was buying or selling Bitcoin.
The company's recent activity has been under scrutiny after it sold 1,638 BTC for $104.73 million between July 27 and August 2. However, a separate transfer of 1,030 BTC to a wallet associated with Strategy on August 5 remains unconfirmed by the company or the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Strategy's Bitcoin holdings remain at 842,138 BTC acquired for $63.51 billion at an average cost of $75,419. The company has been authorized to sell up to $1.25 billion in Bitcoin to build its U.S. dollar reserve, alongside other permitted uses.
