Strategy Teases Resumption of Bitcoin Buying Spree After Two-Month Pause
Strategy, a company known for its bitcoin accumulation strategy, may be set to resume buying after a two-month pause. In a recent post on X, Michael Saylor, Strategy's co-founder and former CEO, wrote 'We're ₿ack,' alongside a chart showing the company's over 110 BTC purchases made in the past six years.
The comment sparked speculation that Strategy has resumed its bitcoin accumulation strategy after a two-month break. The company had paused its buying spree to focus on rebuilding its USD reserve, which climbed above $6.5 billion last week after recent initiatives.
Saylor's post also comes as Bitcoin's price recovered significantly in the past week and a half, surging from under $65,000 to over $78,500. This means that Strategy is now in profit for the first time since May, with its position turning green due to the higher market value.
The current CEO, Phong Le, recently hinted that Strategy may start buying bitcoin again by the end of the year, without providing more details.
