Strategy Unloads $108M in Bitcoin for STRC Buybacks Amid MSTR Stock Surge
Strategy, a company known for its Bitcoin holdings, has made two significant transactions to support its operations. The first transaction involved selling $108.6 million worth of Bitcoin between August 3 and August 9 at an average price of $64,262 per coin.
The proceeds from the sale were used entirely to repurchase STRC shares under Strategy's existing buyback program. This move is part of its Digital Credit Securities Repurchase Program, which has a total allocation of $1 billion.
In addition to the Bitcoin sale, Strategy also raised $653.1 million through MSTR stock sales. Of this amount, $650 million was allocated to the company's U.S. dollar reserve, increasing it from $4 billion to $4.65 billion within one week.
