Strategy Unloads MSTR Shares, Keeps Bitcoin Stash
Strategy, an investment company, has sold over $334 million in MSTR shares between August 10 and 16. According to a document filed with the SEC, Strategy sold a total of 3,358,866 MSTR shares during this period.
The proceeds from these sales were allocated to various purposes: paying dividends, repurchasing preferred shares, and increasing the company's dollar reserve by $149.1 million, bringing it up to $4.8 billion.
Interestingly, despite the significant sell-off in MSTR shares, Strategy has maintained its position in Bitcoin, holding 840,447 BTC valued at approximately $53.4 billion.
The total cost of this position amounts to about $63.4 billion, including fees and expenses, with an average acquisition price of $75,385 per Bitcoin.
