Strategy's Bitcoin Activity Remains Unclear After Saylor's Cryptic Post
Strategy, led by Michael Saylor, has been active in the Bitcoin market recently. The company sold 1,638 BTC for $104.73 million between July 27 and August 2, according to SEC filings.
The latest confirmed sale was accompanied by another source of cash, as Strategy also sold 3.01 million MSTR shares for $290.6 million during the same period. The proceeds from these sales were used to fund STRC repurchases, preferred stock dividends, and add to its U.S. dollar reserve.
A recent transfer of 1,030 BTC linked to Strategy has sparked speculation about whether it was another sale. However, no official company disclosure has confirmed this interpretation, and the transaction could simply be an internal movement or a custodial transfer.
