Strategy's Bitcoin Buy May Be a Warning Signal Rather Than Bullish Trigger
The Bitcoin market is still uncertain, with some analysts believing it may not have yet reached its final bottom.
According to recent data from CryptoQuant, August has seen a significant amount of loss selling from short-term holders (STHs), with over 32,000 BTC being sent to exchanges on the first day of the month alone.
This trend is further reinforced by the Coinbase Premium Index, which has dropped nearly 25% in August despite oil prices crashing more than 10%, indicating fading U.S. spot demand.
In this context, Strategy's recent Bitcoin buy signal may be seen as a warning rather than a bullish trigger, as buying more BTC before a confirmed bottom could increase unrealized losses on the company's holdings and put pressure on its balance sheet.
