Strategy's chairman Michael Saylor has hinted at resuming bitcoin purchases after the company posted an $8.22 billion net loss for Q2 2026.

The loss was largely driven by accounting valuation losses from bitcoin's price drop, with Strategy holding 843,775 BTC worth over 4% of the maximum supply, purchased at an average price of $75,653 each.

Despite the large loss, Saylor's message 'Bitcoin Drive engaged' suggests that Strategy could raise its pace of purchases again based on its current financial structure.
