Strategy, a mining company, has made another move in its shifting treasury approach. The company's wallet transferred 1,030 Bitcoin worth $66.14 million on August 5. This transfer came two days after Strategy confirmed it sold 1,638 Bitcoin for $104.73 million to fund preferred dividends and share repurchases.

The sale of 1,638 Bitcoin averages out to a price of $63,957 per coin, higher than earlier estimates. The proceeds were split between funding preferred stock dividends and buying back STRC shares.

Strategy's board-approved Bitcoin monetization framework allows sales to support cash reserves or fund share buybacks. This move follows four reported Bitcoin sales in 2026, totaling 5,258 coins.
