Strategy's Saylor Hints at Potential New Bitcoin Purchase

Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, has hinted at a potential new Bitcoin purchase for the company in a recent social media post. According to Saylor's Sunday posts, which have historically been precursors to Strategy's Bitcoin purchase announcements, there may be another acquisition on the horizon. The last such disclosure occurred in June 2026, when Strategy acquired 1,587 BTC for approximately $100 million.

Following a subsequent sale in July, Strategy's holdings were reported at around 843,775 BTC. Market participants are interpreting Saylor's hint as potentially indicative of a new Bitcoin purchase by Strategy, with the current pricing on the 'Will STRC hit $100 by December 31?' market showing a significant increase to 36% YES from 32% the previous day.

Strategy has not yet confirmed any such transaction for this week. If the company does announce a new acquisition, it may further influence the 'Will STRC hit $100 by December 31?' market odds and provide additional insight into Strategy's cryptocurrency strategy.
