Strategy's Saylor Signals Possible Return to Bitcoin Buying
Strategy's co-founder and former CEO Michael Saylor sparked speculation when he posted on X that 'We're ₿ack.' This cryptic comment comes after a two-month pause in the company's Bitcoin accumulation strategy. The post included a chart showing Strategy's 110 BTC purchases made over the past six years, with each purchase costing an average of $75,653.
Strategy paused its buying spree in June and focused on rebuilding its USD reserve, which now exceeds $6.5 billion. The company also established a new program called USD Cash, consisting of $1.59 billion, alongside its regular greenback reserve of $5.1 billion.
Some users anticipate that Strategy will announce a new Bitcoin purchase soon, while others believe Saylor's comment refers to the company's position turning profitable after Bitcoin's price surge from under $65,000 to over $78,500 in the past week and a half.
