STRC Stock Surges to Top Holding in BlackRock and VanEck ETFs
Strategy's STRC stock has gained significant institutional attention, becoming the largest holding in three leading preferred stock ETFs. These include BlackRock's PFF, Virtus InfraCap's PFFA, and VanEck's PFXF, which collectively hold $756 million in STRC shares.
Strategy's co-founder Michael Saylor revealed this information on X, noting that digital credit is entering the institutional mainstream. Investors are gaining exposure to Bitcoin-backed STRC stock, with the company's preferred security trading below its par value of $100.
The stock currently trades at around $85, down over 2% from its par value. This decline has also affected Strategy's common stock MSTR, which is trading below the $100 psychological level. Both stocks are mirroring the current bear market conditions for Bitcoin.
Strategy CEO Phong Le highlighted growing momentum among institutions, stating that average institutional holdings increased by 10% to $3.5 million between March and this month. Retail ownership has declined from 78% to 71%, as institutional adoption accelerates.
