Stripe's stablecoin card framework leader, Connor Fitzgerald, has left the company after spearheading its development for over six months.

Fitzgerald joined Stripe just a month after the firm acquired Bridge for $1.1 billion to bolster its blockchain payment operations.

During his tenure, he oversaw the launch of America's first stablecoin settlement mechanism and expanded the company's network of payment processors and banking partners.

The platform now provides stablecoin services in over 100 international markets, including Europe where it obtained regulatory clearance to operate across all 27 member nations.
