Connor Fitzgerald, the leader of stablecoin partnerships at Stripe's Bridge, has left the company. During his tenure, he spearheaded the development of worldwide stablecoin card frameworks.

Fitzgerald joined Bridge just 30 days after Stripe acquired the platform for $1.1 billion and began cultivating relationships with sponsor banking institutions and payment processing networks essential for international card distribution capabilities.

The company has made significant strides since then, launching America's first stablecoin settlement mechanism, expanding its network of payment processors and banking partners, and obtaining regulatory clearances to operate in over 100 global markets.

Bridge also recently obtained Markets in Crypto-Assets compliance and Electronic Money Institution licensing in Luxembourg, enabling compliant operations throughout every European Union member country. This has allowed the company to fortify its European payment capabilities while streamlining international expansion for commercial clients.
