Strive Acquires 220 BTC in Record 11-Day Streak
Strive Asset Management has raised enough capital through its preferred stock offering to purchase 220 BTC over an 11-day period. This is part of a larger trend, as the company's total Bitcoin treasury now exceeds 23,000 BTC, valued at billions at current prices.
The funds for these purchases come from Strive's Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock (SATA), which was established with a $500 million at-the-market authorization in December 2025. This approach is distinct from Strategy's convertible debt method and allows Strive to sidestep refinancing risk without taking on any debt.
Strive initiated its SATA perpetual preferred stock through an IPO in November 2025, raising $149.3 million that funded the initial procurement of 1,567 BTC. Since then, the company has escalated its asset base, with notable acquisition runs including 104 BTC over nine days and 143 BTC over ten days.
The recent buying activity marks a significant increase in pace, with Strive's SATA perpetual preferred stock offering a variable annualized dividend of approximately 13%. This daily dividend payout makes it the first US-listed security to offer this feature, attracting yield-hungry investors who may otherwise invest in bonds or dividend ETFs.
