Strive Acquires Additional 469 BTC, Bringing Holdings to 25,000
Nasdaq-listed Strive has acquired an additional 469 BTC at an average price of approximately $77,954, bringing its total holdings to 25,000 BTC worth nearly $2 billion.
This latest purchase solidifies Strive's position as the fifth-largest publicly traded Bitcoin company, according to Bitcoin Treasuries. The company's stock (ASST) saw a significant increase in trading value, rising over 6% following the news.
The acquisition was made possible by the sale of SATA, Strive's perpetual preferred stock, with 100% of the capital raised coming from these sales, according to CEO Matt Cole on X. The company has maintained its debt-free balance sheet, unlike other major Bitcoin treasuries that have used leverage to buy BTC.
