Strive Adds $36.6M Worth of Bitcoin to Treasury
Strive, a US-listed corporate Bitcoin treasury company and asset manager, continued to expand its holdings last week. According to a recent SEC filing, Strive purchased an additional 469 BTC between September 8th and 11th for around $36.6 million.
The reported average purchase price was $77,954 per Bitcoin, with fees and expenses included in that figure.
This latest acquisition brings Strive's total Bitcoin holdings to 25,000 BTC, making it one of the largest publicly traded corporate holders.
The funding for this purchase came entirely from proceeds from sales of SATA preferred stock. As of September 11th, Strive reported holding $204.2 million in cash and cash equivalents, alongside 505,000 shares of Strategy's STRC preferred stock valued at around $49.8 million.
