Strive Boosts Bitcoin Holdings by 400 More Coins via Preferred Stock Offering
Strive Inc., a registered asset manager trading on NASDAQ under the ticker ASST, has added another 400 Bitcoin to its growing pile through a preferred stock offering.
The company raised the necessary capital via its Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock, known as SATA. This instrument allows Strive to tap into fresh equity at a daily dividend rate of approximately 13% when it trades above its $100 par value.
Since launching in November 2025 with an oversubscribed IPO that generated between $149 million and $160 million in initial capital, the company has grown its Bitcoin holdings significantly. In late 2025, Strive held a low number of BTC, but by mid-August 2026, this figure had ballooned to around 19,000-20,000 BTC.
Some notable purchases include a stretch from May 23 to June 1, 2026, when the company acquired approximately 2,500 BTC at an average price of $74,092 per coin. This single buying window represented over $185 million in Bitcoin acquisitions. More recently, in June 2026, another 759 BTC joined the treasury, and this week's purchase adds to that total.
Strive manages assets exceeding $2 billion to $2.5 billion and has developed a unique approach to acquiring Bitcoin through its preferred equity instrument. This structure aligns shareholder incentives with Bitcoin buying, providing holders with a 13% yield while giving the company a flexible source of capital for repeat purchases.
