Strive Boosts Bitcoin Holdings to 20,000 Amid Peer Crypto Sell-Off
Strive, a publicly traded company, has increased its Bitcoin holdings to 20,000 after purchasing an additional 79 coins. This acquisition was made between July 20 and 24, with the company spending approximately $5.2 million at an average price of $65,723 per coin plus fees.
The total value of Strive's Bitcoin holdings is now around $1.3 billion. The company adopted Bitcoin as a treasury asset in September 2025 and has been actively accumulating coins since then.
Strive merged with Semler Scientific in January 2026, absorbing over 5,000 BTC held by the firm as part of the deal. The company has also authorized itself to raise $4.2 billion in cash through its capital raise program, which it plans to convert into bitcoins as it is raised.
Strive's aggressive approach to purchasing BTC stands out among its peers, with several other firms slowing down or offloading their crypto reserves. For example, Satsuma Technology sold 579 BTC in December and voted to sell its remaining 668 BTC this month, while Strategy recently halted its BTC purchases.
