Strive Boosts Bitcoin Holdings to 25,000 BTC, Touts Debt-Free Approach
Nasdaq-listed bitcoin treasury company Strive has significantly increased its holdings to 25,000 BTC after acquiring 469 additional bitcoins at an average price of approximately $77,954 per BTC. This recent purchase brings Strive's total bitcoin value to nearly $2 billion.
Strive CEO Matt Cole confirmed that the company raised all the capital for this latest acquisition through the sale of its perpetual preferred stock, SATA. He emphasized that no outside borrowing or debt instruments were used in the transaction.
The company's unique approach to funding its bitcoin purchases has contributed to its success. Unlike some major bitcoin treasuries that rely on leverage or debt to expand their positions, Strive relies exclusively on equity sales to fund its purchases.
