Strive Buys More BTC Amid $292M Paper Loss
Strive, a firm that manages Bitcoin treasuries, has continued to buy the cryptocurrency despite sitting on a significant paper loss. The company recently purchased 1,110 BTC for approximately $81.5 million, which reduced its average cost per coin from $94,345 to $93,257.
The purchase marked Strive's largest since June 1, when it acquired 2,499 BTC. In total, the firm has spent around $1.99 billion on 29 separate purchases since September 2025. Despite this, its Bitcoin reserve is currently valued at just over $1.70 billion, which represents a loss of more than $292 million.
Strive's CEO, Matt Cole, believes that the current downturn has ended and that Bitcoin will rebound in the coming months. He cited breakouts against both the US dollar and gold as evidence to support his claim.
